Caviar: Behind the Source - Tour Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket for and/or participating in Caviar: Behind the Source, guests agree to the following terms and conditions.
Reservations & Tickets
A valid ticket is required for each guest attending the tour. Guests should retain their ticket confirmation and have it available on the day of their visit.
Tour tickets, scheduled time, and applicable booking details will be provided separately by email. Guests are responsible for reviewing their booking information and contacting Tsar Nicoulai promptly if they believe any information is incorrect.
Arrival & Check-In
Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tour time to allow sufficient time for parking and check-in.
Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may miss portions of the experience. Where possible, Tsar Nicoulai may attempt to accommodate late guests in a later tour time; however, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Failure to arrive in time to participate in the scheduled tour does not entitle the guest to a refund.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled tour are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled tour, including same-day cancellations and no-shows, are non-refundable.
Refunds will be returned to the original method of payment and may require additional processing time depending on the financial institution.
Tour Changes & Cancellations by Tsar Nicoulai
Tsar Nicoulai reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary, timing, activities, tasting selections, presenters, or other elements of the experience when reasonably necessary due to farm operations, animal welfare, safety considerations, product availability, weather, or other circumstances.
If Tsar Nicoulai must cancel the entire tour and cannot reasonably provide the scheduled experience, affected guests will be offered the opportunity to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Weather
Tours operate rain or shine unless weather or other conditions are deemed unsafe by farm management.
Guests should check the weather forecast before arriving and dress appropriately for outdoor conditions.
In the event of severe weather, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances requiring cancellation by Tsar Nicoulai, guests will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.
Age Requirement & Children
Guests must be 10 years of age or older to participate in the tour.
Guests under the age of 18 must remain under the supervision of a parent or responsible guardian throughout the experience.
Tsar Nicoulai is an active working farm. Running, climbing, entering restricted areas, interacting with farm equipment, or leaving designated guest areas without permission is prohibited.
Dietary Restrictions & Tastings
The experience includes food tastings, including caviar and smoked products.
Due to the format and preparation of the tasting experience, Tsar Nicoulai is unable to accommodate dietary modifications, substitutions, or special requests.
Guests with food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary concerns are responsible for determining whether participation in the tasting portions of the experience is appropriate for them.
Accessibility
The tour takes place on an active working farm and includes walking across outdoor areas that may feature uneven ground, gravel, dirt, grass, wet surfaces, and other agricultural terrain.
Certain areas of the farm may not be fully wheelchair accessible.
Guests requiring accessibility accommodations are encouraged to contact Tsar Nicoulai before booking or as early as possible before their visit so the team can discuss available options. While reasonable efforts will be made to assist guests, access to all areas of the tour cannot be guaranteed.
Farm Attire & Footwear
Guests should wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on a working farm.
Portions of the experience take place outdoors. Guests are responsible for dressing appropriately for weather and farm conditions.
Tsar Nicoulai may restrict access to certain areas if a guest's footwear or clothing creates a safety concern.
Parking
Complimentary on-site parking is available.
Upon arrival, guests should continue past the farm estate and park by the green house, following any additional signage or instructions provided by Tsar Nicoulai staff.
Guests park their vehicles and leave personal property on the premises at their own risk.
Pets & Animals
For the safety of guests, employees, farm animals, and sturgeon, pets are not permitted on the farm or during the tour.
Guests requiring a trained service animal are encouraged to contact Tsar Nicoulai in advance so appropriate arrangements and applicable farm-safety requirements can be discussed.
Safety & Guest Conduct
All visitors must follow instructions provided by Tsar Nicoulai staff and observe posted signs, barriers, and designated guest areas.
Guests may not enter restricted areas, climb structures, interfere with animals, touch equipment without permission, or otherwise interfere with farm operations.
Tsar Nicoulai reserves the right to refuse entry or end a guest's participation in the tour if their behavior presents a safety concern, disrupts farm operations, threatens animal welfare, or materially affects the experience of other guests.
Guests removed for unsafe or inappropriate conduct will not be entitled to a refund.
Working Farm Environment & Assumption of Risk
Tsar Nicoulai is an active agricultural and aquaculture facility, and guests should expect conditions normally associated with a working farm.
These may include uneven or slippery terrain, dirt, gravel, water, changing weather, insects, animals, agricultural equipment, vehicles, machinery, and active farm operations.
By participating, guests acknowledge these conditions and accept the ordinary risks associated with visiting and walking through a working farm environment.
Guests are responsible for exercising reasonable care and following all instructions provided by Tsar Nicoulai staff.
Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the visit.
Tsar Nicoulai is not responsible for personal items that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged during the experience, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Photography
Personal photography is welcome in areas where it is permitted.
For the safety, privacy, and security of farm operations, photography or recording may be restricted in certain areas. Guests must follow any instructions from Tsar Nicoulai staff regarding photography, video recording, or restricted areas.
Commercial photography, professional filming, or organized photo shoots require prior written approval from Tsar Nicoulai.
Experience & Itinerary
Caviar: Behind the Source is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes and is expected to include:

Specific products, tasting selections, presenters, tour routes, and activities may vary based on farm operations, availability, animal welfare considerations, and other circumstances.
Dinner
Dinner is not included as part of Caviar: Behind the Source.
The experience consists of the scheduled tastings and farm tour described in the event itinerary. Guests should not consider the tastings to be a substitute for a full meal.
Farm Operations & Restricted Areas
Tsar Nicoulai remains an operational farm during the tour. Certain areas may be temporarily unavailable or restricted due to production activities, animal care, maintenance, biosecurity requirements, or safety considerations.
Access to any particular tank, hatchery area, production area, or facility cannot be guaranteed.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Tsar Nicoulai will make reasonable efforts to deliver the experience as scheduled but will not be responsible for delays, modifications, interruptions, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, utility interruptions, government restrictions, emergencies, animal-health considerations, or other unforeseen events.
Where Tsar Nicoulai cancels the tour entirely, the cancellation and refund provisions above will apply.

Agreement to These Terms
By purchasing a ticket, attending the tour, or permitting a minor in their care to participate, guests acknowledge that they have reviewed and agree to these Tour Terms & Conditions.
Tsar Nicoulai reserves the right to reasonably update these terms when necessary. The terms applicable to a booking will be those presented in connection with the guest's reservation, subject to any changes required for safety, legal, or operational reasons.
